Tom has been guiding people in the wilderness for more 

than 25 years.  He has trained more than 15,000 people

worldwide in the skills of survival, including elite military groups such as the Navy Seals and Delta Force. 

 

Tom has worked with Paramount Pictures, Touchstone Pictures, Discovery Channel, CNN, National Geographic, Fox News and a myriad of production companies.

 

Tom is a nationally certified Emergency Medical Technician EMT, and a Wilderness EMT and has acted as health and safety for numerous TV and films.  Tom is IOSH certified in Risk Assessment & RoSPA certified Health and Safety for Workers. 

 

Tom holds degrees in Anthropology, Geography, and a Masters degree in Humanitarian Aid Administration. Tom is a photographer, rock climber, surfer and a wealth of knowledge in traditional survival skills-- while also being conversational in Spanish.
